Research Publications

Here is a list of papers that I have published. For some old papers, I do not have electronic copies. I was using typewriters at that time. Revising a paper could take more than a week, especially if the paper has equations. Then I moved to troff then latex and now Word.  For newer publications, it will take me a while to find out the electronic copies. I would like to give credits to all my co-authors, mainly my former students, who did most of the work.

Citation Information

As a researcher, we are obligated to publish our research findings. Publishing papers is really not very difficult as there are many conferences and journals. The quality of research publications is certainly more important than the quantity of publications. One measure of publication quality is the number of citations. NEC Research Institute has implemented a CiteSeer to keep statistics of computer science citations.
